You can also catch a water taxi here to take you to town. Mismayola is known for the filming of the famous movie Night of the Iguana starring Richard Burton and Ava Gardner in the early 1960’s.

Rental Agreement

Reservation Policy

To reserve the dates you want, we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount owing for your stay.The remaining 50% due 30 days prior to your arrival.

Tipping Policy

The suggested tip per staff member per day $15 usd.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of your reservation more than 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded. Cancellation of your reservation within 60 days of arrival will be 50% refunded.

Event Policy

We welcome you to consider holding your Wedding or Special Event at our Villa.  Our Expert Concierge can help you with all the details to meet your budget.  We have a flat fee of $2500 for events with 13 or more people.

OCTOBER 2023 We just had the most wonderful experience, renting this luxurious home on the water in Puerto Vallarta. Waking up every morning to a gorgeous sunrise over the water and having coffee in the Jacuzzi right outside on our suite’s patio. This home had it all lovely and comfortable bedrooms with fabulous decor, infinity pool, a second Jacuzzi, outdoor bar, and BBQ. With an amazing chef that produced lovely and delicious meals, cocktails, and appetizers throughout our stay. All of this and a private, relaxing and beautiful environment, no need to go anywhere else! If we were in the mood for an adventure though there were plenty of opportunities right down the street to a local beach. Here there are authentic Mexican beach restaurants, outdoor massages, paddle board and kayak rentals and if we felt like shopping there were water taxis, to take us on a fun ride to old town Puerto Vallarta. We are already making plans to go back, can’t wait!

SEPTEMBER 2023 Villa Splendora not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. The two times we have stayed there were exactly the same. The property was in the best condition and the view was breathtaking. We must have been to PV 30 times in the last 20 years and never before did we have this kind of experience. The amenities , including the staff at the house, the privacy , the views and the cleanliness of the property were second to none. The infinity pool and the spacious spa were essentially in perfect condition and we spent so much time outside taking in the worldclass full view of the ocean, as if it belonged to only our guests. The staff was so personal and kind and accommodating with any and every need we had. They helped us with transportation to and from the airport, dinner reservations , and excursions as well . Our vacations at Villa Splendora were essentially seamless thanks to what you two have magically put together. The only problem we have going forward is staying anywhere else….nothing will compare. To see this view from your house leaves one speechless. That is nothing but the truth, We look forward to staying there many more times.

JUNE 2023 A 4 STAR "Romantic Paradise" My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Esplendora for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of magical! The villa itself is a piece of heaven on earth. Nestled on a hilltop, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. All the rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and have all the amenities we could have wished for. The staff at Villa Esplendora were exceptional! They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From arranging romantic dinners on the private terrace to providing helpful recommendations for local activities, their hospitality was truly outstanding. One of the highlights of our stay was the infinity pool. We spent countless hours relaxing in the pool, taking in the stunning sunsets, and feeling like we were in our own private oasis. Our honeymoon at Villa Esplendora was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will cherish forever. It provided the perfect blend of relaxation, romance, and adventure. We can't wait to return to this paradise in the future. Villa Esplendora exceeded all our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable destination!
